Terms of service

Licence. Each pack is licensed to the buyer for use in their own business or for their own properties. It may not be resold, redistributed, shared publicly or used to provide services to third parties without our written permission.

Information, not advice. Plain Terms presents the official rules in plain English with examples, analogies and suggested options. Nothing we publish is legal, tax or HR advice, and we make no claims about your situation. Confirm anything you act on with gov.uk and your own solicitor, accountant or HR professional.

Liability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss arising from use of a pack is limited to the price paid for it.

Versions. Packs carry a version number and a "law as at" date. We issue updated versions when the rules change and notify buyers by email; we do not guarantee that a pack reflects changes made after its stated date.
